Brady led a drive for the go-ahead touchdown with 5 minutes left, but the defense gave it up. Just like USC in '05. Brady must be sad.

Saturday mornings of football game days. For the last four years I have been on campus ready and excited to see the Irish play. Today I'll be in class as those golden helmets of the Notre Dame first emerge from the tunnel. I can't begin to describe how much I'll miss it.

I'd be up by 8, at T.C. by 9 for keg n' eggs, and at the JACC lot by 11. The brats and beer would be plentiful as I got ready for the game. Fellow students and parents would be buzzing with stories from last season and hope for the upcoming year. I won't experience this in person this afternoon, but I'll be imagining it all day.
